I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and they opened books. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged out of the things which were written in the books, according to their works. The sea gave up the dead who were in it. Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them. Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts. There remains therefore a Sabbath rest for the people of God. It is well with the man who deals graciously and lends. He will maintain his cause in judgment.A good man deals graciously and lends; He will guide his affairs with discretion.
For whoever wants to save his life will lose it; and whoever will lose his life for my sake and the sake of the Good News will save it.For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it.
Therefore give everyone what you owe: if you owe taxes, pay taxes; if customs, then customs; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor.

This commandment we have from him, that he who loves God should also love his brother.And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.
