I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and they opened books. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged out of the things which were written in the books, according to their works. The sea gave up the dead who were in it. Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them. Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts. Let him return to Yahweh, and he will have mercy on him, to our God, for he will freely pardon.Let the wicked forsake their way, and the unrighteous their thoughts; let them return to the Lord, that he may have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

The rich man’s wealth is his strong city, like an unscalable wall in his own imagination.The wealth of the rich is their strong city; in their imagination it is like a high wall.
He who seeks his life will lose it; and he who loses his life for my sake will find it.Those who find their life will lose it, and those who lose their life for my sake will find it.

Yahweh said to Moses, “Come up to me on the mountain, and stay here, and I will give you the stone tablets with the law and the commands that I have written, that you may teach them.”The Lord said to Moses, “Come up to me on the mountain, and wait there; and I will give you the tablets of stone, with the law and the commandment, which I have written for their instruction.”
There remains therefore a Sabbath rest for the people of God. For he who has entered into his rest has himself also rested from his works, as God did from his.So then, a sabbath rest still remains for the people of God; for those who enter God's rest also cease from their labors as God did from his.
It is well with the man who deals graciously and lends. He will maintain his cause in judgment.It is well with those who deal generously and lend, who conduct their affairs with justice.
For whoever wants to save his life will lose it; and whoever will lose his life for my sake and the sake of the Good News will save it.For those who want to save their life will lose it, and those who lose their life for my sake, and for the sake of the gospel, will save it.
Therefore give everyone what you owe: if you owe taxes, pay taxes; if customs, then customs; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.Pay to all what is due them—taxes to whom taxes are due, revenue to whom revenue is due, respect to whom respect is due, honor to whom honor is due.

This commandment we have from him, that he who loves God should also love his brother.The commandment we have from him is this: those who love God must love their brothers and sisters also.
