Ponder the path of your feet, And let all your ways be established.Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways.
There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his.
And when Jesus had cried out with a loud voice, He said, “Father, ‘into Your hands I commit My spirit.’ ” Having said this, He breathed His last.Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.” When he had said this, he breathed his last.
And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved.And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then the multitudes who went before and those who followed cried out, saying: “Hosanna to the Son of David! ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’ Hosanna in the highest!”The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted, “Hosanna to the Son of David!” “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Hosanna in the highest heaven!”
For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.
But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.
Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Thus says the Lord: “Stand in the ways and see, And ask for the old paths, where the good way is, And walk in it; Then you will find rest for your souls. But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.’”This is what the Lord says: “Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But you said, ‘We will not walk in it.’”
Seek good and not evil, That you may live; So the Lord God of hosts will be with you, As you have spoken.Seek good, not evil, that you may live. Then the Lord God Almighty will be with you, just as you say he is.
Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock.Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.
It is a snare for a man to devote rashly something as holy, And afterward to reconsider his vows.It is a trap to dedicate something rashly and only later to consider one’s vows.
Then Jesus, being filled with the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, being tempted for forty days by the devil. Do not deprive one another except with consent for a time, that you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again so that Satan does not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.Do not deprive each other except perhaps by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Therefore let that abide in you which you heard from the beginning. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, you also will abide in the Son and in the Father.As for you, see that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father.

SelahThen I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord.” And you forgave the guilt of my sin.
And the Lord said to Satan, “Behold, all that he has is in your power; only do not lay a hand on his person.” So Satan went out from the presence of the Lord.The Lord said to Satan, “Very well, then, everything he has is in your power, but on the man himself do not lay a finger.” Then Satan went out from the presence of the Lord.
For if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s.If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.
But from the beginning of the creation, God ‘made them male and female.’ ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’; so then they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.But at the beginning of creation God ‘made them male and female.’ ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.’ So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.
So shall the knowledge of wisdom be to your soul; If you have found it, there is a prospect, And your hope will not be cut off.Know also that wisdom is like honey for you: If you find it, there is a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off.
Jesus answered them and said, “My doctrine is not Mine, but His who sent Me.”Jesus answered, “My teaching is not my own. It comes from the one who sent me.”
