Bible Verses about Work

And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
Commit your works to the Lord, And your thoughts will be established.Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.
Let all that you do be done with love.Do everything in love.
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, And He adds no sorrow with it.The blessing of the Lord brings wealth, without painful toil for it.
And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
I know that nothing is better for them than to rejoice, and to do good in their lives, and also that every man should eat and drink and enjoy the good of all his labor—it is the gift of God.I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live. That each of them may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all their toil—this is the gift of God.
Wealth gained by dishonesty will be diminished, But he who gathers by labor will increase.Dishonest money dwindles away, but whoever gathers money little by little makes it grow.
And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us, And establish the work of our hands for us; Yes, establish the work of our hands.May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us— yes, establish the work of our hands.
Look to yourselves, that we do not lose those things we worked for, but that we may receive a full reward.Watch out that you do not lose what we have worked for, but that you may be rewarded fully.
Two are better than one, Because they have a good reward for their labor. Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor.
Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.
As for every man to whom God has given riches and wealth, and given him power to eat of it, to receive his heritage and rejoice in his labor—this is the gift of God.Moreover, when God gives someone wealth and possessions, and the ability to enjoy them, to accept their lot and be happy in their toil—this is a gift of God.
Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?
And who is he who will harm you if you become followers of what is good?Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good?
Here is what I have seen: It is good and fitting for one to eat and drink, and to enjoy the good of all his labor in which he toils under the sun all the days of his life which God gives him; for it is his heritage. This is what I have observed to be good: that it is appropriate for a person to eat, to drink and to find satisfaction in their toilsome labor under the sun during the few days of life God has given them—for this is their lot.
Again, I saw that for all toil and every skillful work a man is envied by his neighbor. This also is vanity and grasping for the wind. And I saw that all toil and all achievement spring from one person’s envy of another. This too is meaningless, a chasing after the wind.
For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.
But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
