- Commit your works to the Lord,
And your thoughts will be established. - For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish it?
- For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
- A man’s heart plans his way,
But the Lord directs his steps. - May He grant you according to your heart’s desire,
And fulfill all your purpose. - Without counsel, plans go awry,
But in the multitude of counselors they are established. - There are many plans in a man’s heart,
Nevertheless the Lord’s counsel—that will stand. - Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning,
For in You do I trust;
Cause me to know the way in which I should walk,
For I lift up my soul to You. - To everything there is a season,
A time for every purpose under heaven. - “For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. - Do not overwork to be rich;
Because of your own understanding, cease! - So teach us to number our days,
That we may gain a heart of wisdom. - For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts. - This also comes from the Lord of hosts,
Who is wonderful in counsel and excellent in guidance. - But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.
- Surely the Lord God does nothing,
Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets. - Do not envy the oppressor,
And choose none of his ways;
For the perverse person is an abomination to the Lord,
But His secret counsel is with the upright.
The name of the Lord is a strong tower;
The righteous run to it and are safe. Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”Next verse!With image
