And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.We know that God makes all things work together for good for those who love him and who are called according to his purpose.
Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry, but those who trust in the Lord will lack no good thing.The powerful suffer want and go hungry, but those who seek the Lord want for no good thing.
Pride leads to conflict; those who take advice are wise.An ignorant man causes strife by his insolence, but wisdom is found with those who take advice.
God blesses those who are persecuted for doing right, for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs.Blessed are those who are persecuted in the cause of justice, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
The Lord opens the eyes of the blind. The Lord lifts up those who are weighed down. The Lord loves the godly.And opens the eyes of those who cannot see. The Lord lifts up those who are bowed down; the Lord loves the righteous.
Those who listen to instruction will prosper; those who trust the Lord will be joyful.The one who pays heed to instruction prospers, and blessed is he who trusts in the Lord.
And if you do good only to those who do good to you, why should you get credit? Even sinners do that much!And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do as much.
God’s way is perfect. All the Lord’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection.The way of God is blameless, and the Lord’s promise proves true; he is a shield to all who flee to him for safety.
Do not withhold good from those who deserve it when it’s in your power to help them.Do not withhold kindness from anyone to whom it is due when it is in your power to grant it.
We are witnesses of these things and so is the Holy Spirit, who is given by God to those who obey him.And we are witnesses to these things, as is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey him.
The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right, and his ears are open to their prayers. But the Lord turns his face against those who do evil.For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer. However, the face of the Lord is set against those who do evil.
Those who believed what Peter said were baptized and added to the church that day—about 3,000 in all.Those who accepted his message were baptized, and on that day about three thousand people were added to their number.
But the Lord turns his face against those who do evil; he will erase their memory from the earth.The face of the Lord is turned against those who do evil, to erase all memory of them from the earth.
Watch out that you do not lose what we have worked so hard to achieve. Be diligent so that you receive your full reward.Be on your guard that you do not lose what we have worked to accomplish so that you will receive your reward in full.
Glory to God in highest heaven, and peace on earth to those with whom God is pleased.Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to all those on whom his favor rests.
But the Lord will redeem those who serve him. No one who takes refuge in him will be condemned.The Lord redeems the lives of those who serve him; no one will be condemned who takes refuge in him.
Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and glorify and honor the King of heaven. All his acts are just and true, and he is able to humble the proud.Therefore, now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and exalt and glorify the King of heaven. For all of his works are right, and all of his ways are just. Also, he is able to humble all those who follow the path of pride.
When Jesus heard this, he said, “Healthy people don’t need a doctor—sick people do.”When Jesus heard this, he said, “It is not the healthy who need a physician, but rather those who are sick.”
God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.Blessed is the man who perseveres when he is tempted, for when he has been proven, he will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.
My future is in your hands. Rescue me from those who hunt me down relentlessly.My life is in your hands; deliver me from the power of my enemies, from the clutches of those who pursue me.
Then Jesus told him, “You believe because you have seen me. Blessed are those who believe without seeing me.”Then Jesus said to him, “You have come to believe because you have seen me. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have come to believe.”
God places the lonely in families; he sets the prisoners free and gives them joy. But he makes the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land.He gives a home to those who are forsaken and leads out prisoners amid chants of exultation, while rebels are forced to live in an arid land.
Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone—especially to those in the family of faith.Therefore, while we have the opportunity, let us labor for the good of all, but especially for those members of the household of the faith.
Those who control their tongue will have a long life; opening your mouth can ruin everything.He who guards his mouth makes his life secure, but one who talks excessively ensures his own downfall.
The Lord says, “I was ready to respond, but no one asked for help. I was ready to be found, but no one was looking for me. I said, ‘Here I am, here I am!’ to a nation that did not call on my name.”I was eager to respond to those who did not consult me. I was anxious to be approached by those who did not seek me. I said, “Here I am! Here I am!” to a nation that did not summon me.

Jesus replied, “But even more blessed are all who hear the word of God and put it into practice.”Jesus replied, “Blessed, rather, are those who hear the word of God and obey it!”
