| But now God has shown us a way to be made right with him without keeping the requirements of the law, as was promised in the writings of Moses and the prophets long ago. We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are. | But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference. |

| Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. | Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. |
| This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! | Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. |
| So Christ has truly set us free. Now make sure that you stay free, and don’t get tied up again in slavery to the law. | Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. |
| May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. | The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen. |
| For if you are trying to make yourselves right with God by keeping the law, you have been cut off from Christ! You have fallen away from God’s grace. | Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. |
| May the Lord lead your hearts into a full understanding and expression of the love of God and the patient endurance that comes from Christ. | And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ. |
| For no one can ever be made right with God by doing what the law commands. The law simply shows us how sinful we are. | Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. |
