O God, you will not despise a broken and contrite heart. - For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast.
- God created man in his own image. In God’s image he created him; male and female he created them.

- When they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were gathered together. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.
- You adulterers and adulteresses, don’t you know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
- Always rejoice. Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you.
- He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. To this end the Son of God was revealed: that he might destroy the works of the devil.
