| I am the living bread that came down from heaven. | If we say that we have fellowship with him while we are walking in darkness, we lie and do not do what is true. | If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth. |

| What then are we to say? Should we continue in sin in order that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin go on living in it? | What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? |
