| But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs.” | But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven. |
| Keep these words that I am commanding you today in your heart. | Now, discipline always seems painful rather than pleasant at the time, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it. | Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby. |
| Grandchildren are the crown of the aged, and the glory of children is their parents. | Children's children are the crown of old men; and the glory of children are their fathers. |

| It is that very Spirit bearing witness with our spirit that we are children of God. | The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God. |
