So then the Lord, after he had spoken to them, was received up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.Then, after he had spoken to them, the Lord Jesus was taken up into heaven, and there he took his place at the right hand of God.
I will make them and the places around my hill a blessing. I will cause the shower to come down in its season. There will be showers of blessing.I will make them and the region surrounding my hill a blessing, and I will send them rain in due season that will be showers of blessing.
But let justice roll on like rivers, and righteousness like a mighty stream.Rather, let justice flow like a river, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.
For if we live, we live to the Lord. Or if we die, we die to the Lord. If therefore we live or die, we are the Lord’s.If we live, we live for the Lord, and if we die, we die for the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s.
Yahweh, you have searched me, and you know me. You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar.O Lord, you have examined me and you know me. You know when I sit and when I stand; you perceive my thoughts from a distance.
Whom, not having known, you love. In him, though now you don’t see him, yet believing, you rejoice greatly with joy that is unspeakable and full of glory, receiving the result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.Although you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with a joy that is indescribable and glorious. For you are achieving the goal of your faith, that is, the salvation of your souls.
Yahweh preserves the foreigners. He upholds the fatherless and widow, but he turns the way of the wicked upside down.The Lord watches over the stranger and sustains the fatherless and the widow, but he blocks the way of the wicked.
And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.And if we know that he hears us in regard to whatever we ask him, we may be sure that all we ask of him will be ours.
Nevertheless in your manifold mercies you didn’t make a full end of them, nor forsake them; for you are a gracious and merciful God.Yet even so, because of your great compassion, you did not completely destroy them, nor did you forsake them, for you are a gracious and merciful God.
These words, which I command you today, shall be on your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up.You shall keep these things that I command you today in your heart. Teach them to your children. You shall talk of them when you are sitting in your home, and when you are walking along the way, and when you lie down and when you rise up.
For in him all the fullness of the Deity dwells bodily, and in him you are made full, who is the head of all principality and power.For it is in him that the entire fullness of deity dwells in bodily form, and you share this fullness in him who is the head of every ruler and power.
His Son is the radiance of his glory, the very image of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, who, when he had by himself purified us of our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.He is the reflection of God’s glory and the perfect expression of his very being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. Achieving purification from sins, he took his seat at the right hand of the Majesty on high.
But if we hope for that which we don’t see, we wait for it with patience.But if we hope for what we do not yet see, then we wait for it with patience.
“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and test me now in this,” says Yahweh of Armies, “if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there will not be enough room for.”Bring the tithes in full into the treasury so that there may be food in my house. Put me thus to the test, says the Lord of hosts, and see if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down blessings upon you without measure.
Looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.With our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. For the sake of the joy that lay before him, he endured the cross, ignoring its shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
Surely he has borne our sickness and carried our suffering; yet we considered him plagued, struck by God, and afflicted.Although it was our afflictions that he bore, our sufferings that he endured, we thought of him as stricken, as struck down by God and afflicted.
If we say that we have fellowship with him and walk in the darkness, we lie and don’t tell the truth.If we claim that we have fellowship with him while we continue to live in darkness, we are lying and do not live in the truth.
I know how to be humbled, and I also know how to abound. In any and all circumstances I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need.I know how to live with little, and I know how to live with plenty. In any and all circumstances, I have learned the secret of being well fed and of going hungry, of having plenty and of being in need.
Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him, the saving help of my countenance, and my God.Why are you so disheartened, O my soul? Why do you sigh within me? Place your hope in God; for I will once again praise him, my Savior and my God.
I ate no pleasant food. No meat or wine came into my mouth. I didn’t anoint myself at all, until three whole weeks were fulfilled.I refrained from eating any choice food, abstaining from consuming meat or wine, and I did not anoint myself until those three weeks had passed.
What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? May it never be! We who died to sin, how could we live in it any longer?What then shall we say? Should we persist in sin in order that grace may abound? Of course not! We have died to sin. How can we live in it any longer?
Rejoice in the Lord always! Again I will say, “Rejoice!”Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I say: Rejoice!
For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh.Although we are human beings, we do not engage in battle according to human standards.
This saying is trustworthy: “For if we died with him, we will also live with him.”This saying can be trusted: If we have died with him, we shall also live with him.
No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God remains in us, and his love has been perfected in us.No one has ever seen God, but if we love one another, God abides in us, and his love is made complete in us.

For we brought nothing into the world, and we certainly can’t carry anything out. But having food and clothing, we will be content with that.For we brought nothing into this world, and we can take nothing out. If we have food and clothing, let us be content with these.
