Keep these words that I am commanding you today in your heart. Recite them to your children and talk about them when you are at home and when you are away, when you lie down and when you rise.And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. And when he comes, he will prove the world wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment.And when he comes, he will convict the world of its sin, and of God’s righteousness, and of the coming judgment.
Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to do it.Do not withhold good from those who deserve it when it’s in your power to help them.
Train children in the right way, and when old, they will not stray.Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it.
When the cares of my heart are many, your consolations cheer my soul.When doubts filled my mind, your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer.

When you make a vow to God, do not delay fulfilling it; for he has no pleasure in fools. Fulfill what you vow.When you make a promise to God, don’t delay in following through, for God takes no pleasure in fools. Keep all the promises you make to him.
I will praise you with an upright heart, when I learn your righteous ordinances.As I learn your righteous regulations, I will thank you by living as I should!
But when he heard this, he said, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.”When Jesus heard this, he said, “Healthy people don’t need a doctor—sick people do.”
Blessed are you when people revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account.God blesses you when people mock you and persecute you and lie about you and say all sorts of evil things against you because you are my followers.
How very good and pleasant it is when kindred live together in unity!How wonderful and pleasant it is when brothers live together in harmony!
When Jesus heard this, he replied, “Do not fear. Only believe, and she will be saved.”But when Jesus heard what had happened, he said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid. Just have faith, and she will be healed.”
And now, little children, abide in him, so that when he is revealed we may have confidence and not be put to shame before him at his coming.And now, dear children, remain in fellowship with Christ so that when he returns, you will be full of courage and not shrink back from him in shame.

Our steps are made firm by the Lord, when he delights in our way.The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives.
