Yahweh restored Job’s prosperity when he prayed for his friends. Yahweh gave Job twice as much as he had before.After Job had prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his fortunes and gave him twice as much as he had before.
But you, when you pray, enter into your inner room, and having shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
When they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were gathered together. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. In praying, don’t use vain repetitions as the Gentiles do; for they think that they will be heard for their much speaking.And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words.
When they lead you away and deliver you up, don’t be anxious beforehand or premeditate what you will say, but say whatever will be given you in that hour. For it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit.Whenever you are arrested and brought to trial, do not worry beforehand about what to say. Just say whatever is given you at the time, for it is not you speaking, but the Holy Spirit.

But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, so that you are not seen by men to be fasting, but by your Father who is in secret; and your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you.But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, so that it will not be obvious to others that you are fasting, but only to your Father, who is unseen; and your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
But Jesus hearing it, answered him, “Don’t be afraid. Only believe, and she will be healed.”Hearing this, Jesus said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed.”
See how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity!How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!
For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up.If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.

Now when the day of Pentecost had come, they were all with one accord in one place. Suddenly there came from the sky a sound like the rushing of a mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.
