If another believer sins against you, go privately and point out the offense. If the other person listens and confesses it, you have won that person back. How great is the goodness you have stored up for those who fear you. You lavish it on those who come to you for protection, blessing them before the watching world. Do what is good and run from evil so that you may live! Then the Lord God of Heaven’s Armies will be your helper, just as you have claimed. Amos 5:14	Seek good, and not evil, that you may live; and so Yahweh, the God of Armies, will be with you, as you say. holiness reward seeking
“Don’t be afraid, Mary,” the angel told her, “for you have found favor with God! When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God. Galatians 5:19-21	Now the deeds of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit God’s Kingdom. body sin sexuality
Don’t repay evil for evil. Don’t retaliate with insults when people insult you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. But in my distress I cried out to the Lord; yes, I prayed to my God for help. He heard me from his sanctuary; my cry to him reached his ears. And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. Romans 8:28	We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose. love God calling
Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples. John 13:35	By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another. love evangelism following
By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence. 2 Peter 1:3	Seeing that his divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and virtue. strength life receiving
Don’t lie to each other, for you have stripped off your old sinful nature and all its wicked deeds. Put on your new nature, and be renewed as you learn to know your Creator and become like him. You have heard the commandment that says, ‘You must not commit adultery.’ But I say, anyone who even looks at a woman with lust has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
