Remember, O Lord, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; for they have been ever of old. Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness' sake, O Lord.Be mindful of your mercy, O Lord, and of your steadfast love, for they have been from of old. For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.Jesus answered them, “Very truly, I tell you, everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin.”
For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.If you sow to your own flesh, you will reap corruption from the flesh; but if you sow to the Spirit, you will reap eternal life from the Spirit.
So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.And those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.Happy are those whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
The memory of the just is blessed: but the name of the wicked shall rot.The memory of the righteous is a blessing, but the name of the wicked will rot.
Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil.Be angry but do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and do not make room for the devil.
Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.Repent therefore, and turn to God so that your sins may be wiped out.

And it shall be, when he shall be guilty in one of these things, that he shall confess that he hath sinned in that thing.When you realize your guilt in any of these, you shall confess the sin that you have committed.
There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.There is a way that seems right to a person, but its end is the way to death.
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.Do not love the world or the things in the world. The love of the Father is not in those who love the world.
Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.Come now, let us argue it out, says the Lord: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be like snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool.
For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.For I will be merciful toward their iniquities, and I will remember their sins no more.
Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.Come to a sober and right mind, and sin no more; for some people have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.

We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from thy precepts and from thy judgments.We have sinned and done wrong, acted wickedly and rebelled, turning aside from your commandments and ordinances.
Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.
And if a soul sin, and commit any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the Lord; though he wist it not, yet is he guilty, and shall bear his iniquity.If any of you sin without knowing it, doing any of the things that by the Lord's commandments ought not to be done, you have incurred guilt, and are subject to punishment.

He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.Everyone who commits sin is a child of the devil; for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The Son of God was revealed for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil.
