Think about it: Just as a parent disciplines a child, the Lord your God disciplines you for your own good. Deuteronomy 8:5	So you are to know in your heart that the Lord your God was disciplining you just as a man disciplines his son. learning punishment
If you had really known me, you would know who my Father is. From now on, you do know him and have seen him! John 14:7	If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him, and have seen Him. Jesus
Pray like this: Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too. Anyone who wants to serve me must follow me, because my servants must be where I am. And the Father will honor anyone who serves me. For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. Anyone who denies the Son doesn’t have the Father, either. But anyone who acknowledges the Son has the Father also. 1 John 2:23	Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father; the one who confesses the Son has the Father also. Jesus acknowledging confession

Those who are victorious will sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat with my Father on his throne. Revelation 3:21	The one who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat with My Father on His throne. overcoming reward heaven
For he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son, who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins. Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter. So you must remain faithful to what you have been taught from the beginning. All who are victorious will be clothed in white. I will never erase their names from the Book of Life, but I will announce before my Father and his angels that they are mine. Now he is exalted to the place of highest honor in heaven, at God’s right hand. And the Father, as he had promised, gave him the Holy Spirit to pour out upon us, just as you see and hear today.

Therefore, since He has been exalted at the right hand of God, and has received the promise of the Holy Spirit from the Father, He has poured out this which you both see and hear.
