And your Father, who sees everything, will reward you.But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, so that you are not seen by men to be fasting, but by your Father who is in secret; and your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you.

For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—isn’t the Father’s, but is the world’s.
If you had really known me, you would know who my Father is. From now on, you do know him and have seen him!If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on, you know him and have seen him.
Anyone who wants to serve me must follow me, because my servants must be where I am. And the Father will honor anyone who serves me.If anyone serves me, let him follow me. Where I am, there my servant will also be. If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him.

“Abba, Father,” he cried out, “everything is possible for you. Please take this cup of suffering away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine.”Abba, Father, all things are possible to you. Please remove this cup from me. However, not what I desire, but what you desire.
When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples. This brings great glory to my Father. In this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; and so you will be my disciples.
For he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son, who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins.Who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love, in whom we have our redemption, the forgiveness of our sins.
Those who are victorious will sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat with my Father on his throne. He who overcomes, I will give to him to sit down with me on my throne, as I also overcame and sat down with my Father on his throne.
Anyone who denies the Son doesn’t have the Father, either. But anyone who acknowledges the Son has the Father also.Whoever denies the Son doesn’t have the Father. He who confesses the Son has the Father also.
But if you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
I live because of the living Father who sent me; in the same way, anyone who feeds on me will live because of me.As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on me will also live because of me.
Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter. Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
