You have given me your shield of victory. Your right hand supports me; your help has made me great. You have made a wide path for my feet to keep them from slipping. So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son. Every word of God proves true. He is a shield to all who come to him for protection. Proverbs 30:5	Every word of God has proved to be true; he is a shield to those who trust in him. truth protection
My child, pay attention to what I say. Listen carefully to my words. Don’t lose sight of them. Let them penetrate deep into your heart. Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts. As the Scriptures tell us, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.” Romans 10:11	As Scripture asserts, “No one who believes in him will be put to shame.” faith reliability
The very essence of your words is truth; all your just regulations will stand forever. Psalm 119:160	Every word you utter is true, and all your righteous judgments are everlasting. reliability law
I am counting on the Lord; yes, I am counting on him. I have put my hope in his word. Psalm 130:5	I wait for the Lord in anxious expectation; I place my hope in his word. hope soul

The seed that fell among the thorns represents those who hear God’s word, but all too quickly the message is crowded out by the worries of this life and the lure of wealth, so no fruit is produced. Matthew 13:22	The seed sown among thorns is the one who hears the word, but worldly cares and the lure of riches choke the word and it bears no fruit. worrying money temptation
Therefore, tell them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: No more delay! I will now do everything I have threatened. I, the Sovereign Lord, have spoken!’ Ezekiel 12:28	Therefore say to them, “Thus says the Lord God: The fulfillment of my words will not be delayed any longer. What I have said will be done now. You have already been pruned and purified by the message I have given you. John 15:3	You have already been cleansed by the word I have spoken to you. purification speaking evil
I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not even the smallest detail of God’s law will disappear until its purpose is achieved. God created everything through him, and nothing was created except through him. John 1:3	Through him all things came into existence, and without him there was nothing. That which came to be. creation life

This is a trustworthy saying: If we die with him, we will also live with him. 2 Timothy 2:11	This saying can be trusted: If we have died with him, we shall also live with him. death eternal life reliability
I have not departed from his commands, but have treasured his words more than daily food. Job 23:12	I have not strayed from the commandments of his lips; I have treasured in my heart the words of his mouth. law speaking obedience

Moses remained there on the mountain with the Lord forty days and forty nights. In all that time he ate no bread and drank no water. And the Lord wrote the terms of the covenant—the Ten Commandments—on the stone tablets.
