Trust (2/3)

How great is your goodness, O Lord, which you have stored up for those who fear you and which you bestow on those who take refuge in you, in the presence of all the people.Oh, how great is Your goodness, Which You have laid up for those who fear You, Which You have prepared for those who trust in You In the presence of the sons of men!
In God, whose word I praise, in God I place my trust and know no fear; what can people do to me?In God (I will praise His word), In God I have put my trust; I will not fear. What can flesh do to me?
Beloved, do not trust every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God. For many false prophets have gone out into the world.Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
And if we know that he hears us in regard to whatever we ask him, we may be sure that all we ask of him will be ours. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.
It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to place your trust in mortals. It is better to trust in the Lord Than to put confidence in man.
The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart places its trust in him. He has helped me, and I exult; then with my song I praise him.The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song I will praise Him.
Do not let your hearts be troubled. You place your trust in God. Trust also in me.Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.
O Lord, you grant peace to those who are steadfast because of their trust in you.You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.
Those who revere your name place their trust in you, for you never abandon those who seek you, O Lord. And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You.
Beloved, if our hearts do not condemn us, we can approach God with confidence and receive from him whatever we ask, because we obey his commandments and do whatever is pleasing to him.Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God. And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.
But if we hope for what we do not yet see, then we wait for it with patience. But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.
Protect me, O God, for in you I take refuge.Preserve me, O God, for in You I put my trust.
I do not say this because I have been in need, for I have learned to be content with whatever I have. Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content.
As for me, I trust in your kindness; my heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing to the Lord because he has been good to me.But I have trusted in Your mercy; My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation. I will sing to the Lord, Because He has dealt bountifully with me.
Even if an army encamps against me, my heart will not succumb to fear; even if war breaks out against me, I will not have my trust shaken.Though an army may encamp against me, My heart shall not fear; Though war may rise against me, In this I will be confident.
He answered, “Because you have such little faith. Amen, I say to you, if you have faith as tiny as a mustard seed, you will be able to say to this mountain: ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.”
O Lord, let your kindness rest upon us, for we have placed our hope in you.Let Your mercy, O Lord, be upon us, Just as we hope in You.
The Lord makes a man’s steps secure when he approves of his conduct. The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, And He delights in his way.
Love does not rejoice over wrongdoing but rejoices in the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.Does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Although the mountains may be shaken and the hills may totter, my steadfast love will not depart from you, and my covenant of peace will never be shaken, says the Lord who has compassion on you.“For the mountains shall depart And the hills be removed, But My kindness shall not depart from you, Nor shall My covenant of peace be removed,” Says the Lord, who has mercy on you.
Amen, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be accomplished for him.For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.
He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress, so that I stand unshaken. He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be moved.
I am confident that I will behold the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the Lord In the land of the living.
Do not envy a violent man or choose to emulate any of his ways. For the perverse man is an abomination to the Lord whose friendship is bestowed only upon the upright.Do not envy the oppressor, And choose none of his ways; For the perverse person is an abomination to the Lord, But His secret counsel is with the upright.
And now, dear children, abide in him, so that when he appears we may have confidence and not be put to shame by him at his coming. And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming.

For we will become partners with Christ only if we maintain firmly until the end the confidence we originally had.For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end.
