Trust (2/3)

Oh, how great is Your goodness, Which You have laid up for those who fear You, Which You have prepared for those who trust in You In the presence of the sons of men!O how abundant is your goodness that you have laid up for those who fear you, and accomplished for those who take refuge in you, in the sight of everyone!
In God (I will praise His word), In God I have put my trust; I will not fear. What can flesh do to me?In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I am not afraid; what can flesh do to me?
Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God; for many false prophets have gone out into the world.
And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have obtained the requests made of him.
It is better to trust in the Lord Than to put confidence in man.It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to put confidence in mortals.
The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song I will praise Him.The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts; so I am helped, and my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him.
Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.Do not let your hearts be troubled. Believe in God, believe also in me.
You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.Those of steadfast mind you keep in peace— in peace because they trust in you.
And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You.And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you.
Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God. And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.Beloved, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have boldness before God; and we receive from him whatever we ask, because we obey his commandments and do what pleases him.
But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance. But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.
Preserve me, O God, for in You I put my trust.Protect me, O God, for in you I take refuge.
Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content. Not that I am referring to being in need; for I have learned to be content with whatever I have.
But I have trusted in Your mercy; My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation. I will sing to the Lord, Because He has dealt bountifully with me.But I trusted in your steadfast love; my heart shall rejoice in your salvation. I will sing to the Lord, because he has dealt bountifully with me.
Though an army may encamp against me, My heart shall not fear; Though war may rise against me, In this I will be confident.Though an army encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war rise up against me, yet I will be confident.
So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.”He said to them, “Because of your little faith. For truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.”
Let Your mercy, O Lord, be upon us, Just as we hope in You.Let your steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us, even as we hope in you.
The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, And He delights in his way.Our steps are made firm by the Lord, when he delights in our way.
Does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. It does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
“For the mountains shall depart And the hills be removed, But My kindness shall not depart from you, Nor shall My covenant of peace be removed,” Says the Lord, who has mercy on you.For the mountains may depart and the hills be removed, but my steadfast love shall not depart from you, and my covenant of peace shall not be removed, says the Lord, who has compassion on you.
For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.Truly I tell you, if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and if you do not doubt in your heart, but believe that what you say will come to pass, it will be done for you.
He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be moved. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be shaken.
I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the Lord In the land of the living.I believe that I shall see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
Do not envy the oppressor, And choose none of his ways; For the perverse person is an abomination to the Lord, But His secret counsel is with the upright.Do not envy the violent and do not choose any of their ways; for the perverse are an abomination to the Lord, but the upright are in his confidence.
And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming. And now, little children, abide in him, so that when he is revealed we may have confidence and not be put to shame before him at his coming.

For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end.For we have become partners of Christ, if only we hold our first confidence firm to the end.
