Chinese (traditional)If in speaking I use human tongues
and angelic as well,
but do not have love,
I am nothing more than a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. If I speak in the tongues of mortals and of angels, but do not have love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. If I speak with the languages of men and of angels, but don’t have love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. It is better to be a patient man rather than a warrior,
one who controls his temper rather than one who captures a city. Since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from anything that can defile flesh or spirit, and thereby make our holiness perfect in the fear of God.Next verse! With image
