Chinese (traditional)For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come. For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come. For while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come. For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come. Physical training is good, but training for godliness is much better, promising benefits in this life and in the life to come. For, while physical training is of some value, godliness is valuable in every way, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come. For bodily exercise has some value, but godliness has value in all things, having the promise of the life which is now and of that which is to come. While physical training has some value, the benefits of godliness are unlimited, since it holds out promise not only for this life but also for the life to come. Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. The Lord will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;
the Lord will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.Next verse!With image
