Deuteronomy 5:11 - NRSV
You shall not make wrongful use of the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not acquit anyone who misuses his name.

You must not misuse the name of the Lord your God. The Lord will not let you go unpunished if you misuse his name.
You shall not misuse the name of Yahweh your God; for Yahweh will not hold him guiltless who misuses his name.
You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not leave unpunished the one who takes His name in vain.
You shall not take the name of the Lord, your God, in vain, for the Lord will not consider blameless those who take his name in vain.
