- Do not judge, so that you may not be judged.
- Do not judge, and you will not be judged; do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
- Whoever does not love does not know God, for God is love.
- He will not let your foot be moved;
he who keeps you will not slumber. - Love is patient; love is kind; love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful.
- You shall not murder; You shall not commit adultery; You shall not steal; You shall not bear false witness; Honor your father and mother; also, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
- For we walk by faith, not by sight.
- What then should we say? That the law is sin? By no means! Yet, if it had not been for the law, I would not have known sin. I would not have known what it is to covet if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.”
- The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery; You shall not murder; You shall not steal; You shall not covet”; and any other commandment, are summed up in this word, “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
- God is not a human being, that he should lie,
or a mortal, that he should change his mind.
Has he promised, and will he not do it?
Has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it? - And whoever does not take up the cross and follow me is not worthy of me.
- Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.
- Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name give glory,
for the sake of your steadfast love and your faithfulness. - Nothing is covered up that will not be uncovered, and nothing secret that will not become known.
- I will not leave you orphaned; I am coming to you.
- Those who believe in him are not condemned; but those who do not believe are condemned already, because they have not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
- Do not be deceived; God is not mocked, for you reap whatever you sow.
- Be angry but do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and do not make room for the devil.
- Do not say, “Why were the former days better than these?”
For it is not from wisdom that you ask this. - Those who eat must not despise those who abstain, and those who abstain must not pass judgment on those who eat; for God has welcomed them.
- You shall not make wrongful use of the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not acquit anyone who misuses his name.
- “All things are lawful,” but not all things are beneficial. “All things are lawful,” but not all things build up.
- So let us not grow weary in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvest time, if we do not give up.
- Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth; I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.
- Do not love the world or the things in the world. The love of the Father is not in those who love the world.
Go and learn what this means, ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have come to call not the righteous but sinners.This God—his way is perfect;
the promise of the Lord proves true;
he is a shield for all who take refuge in him. You will be enriched in every way for your great generosity, which will produce thanksgiving to God through us.Next verse!With image
