Bible Verses about 'Not'

  • Judge not, that you be not judged.
  • He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
  • Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
  • Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil.
  • He will not allow your foot to be moved;
    He who keeps you will not slumber.
  • He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.
  • Let not him who eats despise him who does not eat, and let not him who does not eat judge him who eats; for God has received him.
  • God is not a man, that He should lie,
    Nor a son of man, that He should repent.
    Has He said, and will He not do?
    Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?
  • And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me.
  • ‘You shall not murder,’ ‘You shall not commit adultery,’ ‘You shall not steal,’ ‘You shall not bear false witness,’ ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
  • What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Certainly not! On the contrary, I would not have known sin except through the law. For I would not have known covetousness unless the law had said, “You shall not covet.”
  • For we walk by faith, not by sight.
  • For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not bear false witness,” “You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
  • Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us,
    But to Your name give glory,
    Because of Your mercy,
    Because of Your truth.
  • Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword.
  • Do not say,
    “Why were the former days better than these?”
    For you do not inquire wisely concerning this.
  • You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask.
  • I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.
  • He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
  • For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known.
  • Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
  • And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
  • Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.
  • “Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil.
  • I was sought by those who did not ask for Me;
    I was found by those who did not seek Me.
    I said, ‘Here I am, here I am,’
    To a nation that was not called by My name.

Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.

But above all, my brethren, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath. But let your “Yes” be “Yes,” and your “No,” “No,” lest you fall into judgment.
