- You shall not make gods of silver alongside me, nor shall you make for yourselves gods of gold.
- And he said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fish for people.”
- Give heed to my reproof;
I will pour out my thoughts to you;
I will make my words known to you. - And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace for those who make peace.
- O give thanks to the Lord, call on his name,
make known his deeds among the peoples. - Make me to know your ways, O Lord;
teach me your paths. - Then the Lord God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper as his partner.”
- I will both lie down and sleep in peace;
for you alone, O Lord, make me lie down in safety. - Wash yourselves; make yourselves clean;
remove the evil of your doings
from before my eyes;
cease to do evil. - Instead, put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires.
- And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love for one another and for all, just as we abound in love for you.
- Jesus answered him, “Those who love me will keep my word, and my Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.”
- Great peace have those who love your law;
nothing can make them stumble. - I will make them and the region around my hill a blessing; and I will send down the showers in their season; they shall be showers of blessing.
- To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
- When you make a vow to God, do not delay fulfilling it; for he has no pleasure in fools. Fulfill what you vow.
- And you will say in that day:
Give thanks to the Lord,
call on his name;
make known his deeds among the nations;
proclaim that his name is exalted. - So I will display my greatness and my holiness and make myself known in the eyes of many nations. Then they shall know that I am the Lord.
- I made your name known to them, and I will make it known, so that the love with which you have loved me may be in them, and I in them.
- Where can I go from your spirit?
Or where can I flee from your presence?
If I ascend to heaven, you are there;
if I make my bed in Sheol, you are there. - Who are you to pass judgment on servants of another? It is before their own lord that they stand or fall. And they will be upheld, for the Lord is able to make them stand.
- Let your face shine upon your servant;
save me in your steadfast love. - Consequently he is able for all time to save those who approach God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them.
- The Lord bless you and keep you;
the Lord make his face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you;
the Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace. - Riches and honor come from you, and you rule over all. In your hand are power and might; and it is in your hand to make great and to give strength to all.
To make an apt answer is a joy to anyone,
and a word in season, how good it is!And live in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. And let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good deeds, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching.Next verse!With image
