- Ye shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall ye make unto you gods of gold.
- And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.
- And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.
- Turn you at my reproof:
behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you,
I will make known my words unto you. - O give thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name:
make known his deeds among the people. - And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
- Make thy face to shine upon thy servant:
save me for thy mercies' sake. - Wash you, make you clean;
put away the evil of your doings
from before mine eyes;
cease to do evil. - But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
- And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing.
- Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
- The Lord God is my strength,
and he will make my feet like hinds' feet,
and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. - And in that day shall ye say,
Praise the Lord, call upon his name,
declare his doings among the people,
make mention that his name is exalted. - And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you.
- To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
- Shew me thy ways, O Lord;
teach me thy paths. - It is a snare to the man who devoureth that which is holy,
and after vows to make enquiry. - Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.
- Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
- Whither shall I go from thy spirit?
or whither shall I flee from thy presence?
If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there:
if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. - Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all.
- I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep:
for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety. - The Lord bless thee, and keep thee:
The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. - And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.
- When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for he hath no pleasure in fools: pay that which thou hast vowed.
If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee.
