Chinese (traditional)
A fool is quick to show his anger,
but a prudent man ignores an insult.
Fools show their annoyance at once,
but the prudent overlook an insult.
A fool's wrath is presently known:
but a prudent man covereth shame.The vexation of a fool is known at once,
but the prudent ignores an insult. A fool’s wrath is known at once,
But a prudent man covers shame. A fool is quick-tempered,
but a wise person stays calm when insulted. Fools show their anger at once,
but the prudent ignore an insult. A fool shows his annoyance the same day,
but one who overlooks an insult is prudent. A fool’s anger is known at once,
But a prudent person conceals dishonor. The love of the Lord is never exhausted,
nor do his deeds of mercy ever come to an end.
They are renewed every morning;
his faithfulness never ceases. Do not succumb to the love of money, but be content with what you have, for God has said, “I will never forsake you or abandon you.”Next verse!With image
