- Reflect on the Lord and his strength;
seek his face continually. - Seek the Lord and his strength,
seek his face continually. - With his feathers he will shelter you,
and you will take refuge under his wings;
his faithfulness serves as a protective shield. - May the Lord grant strength to his people.
May the Lord bless his people with peace. - Indeed, the Lord God does nothing
without revealing his plan
to his servants, the prophets. - Give thanks to the Lord, invoke his name;
proclaim his deeds among the peoples. - All I want is to come to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and to share in his sufferings by becoming conformed to his death.
- He who guards his mouth makes his life secure,
but one who talks excessively ensures his own downfall. - A man may plan his own course,
but the Lord makes his steps secure. - And you will say on that day:
Give thanks to the Lord,
invoke his name;
make known his deeds among the nations;
proclaim that his name is exalted. - The Lord is righteous in all his ways
and merciful in everything he does. - When Jesus had taken the wine, he said, “It is finished.” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
- I have not strayed from the commandments of his lips;
I have treasured in my heart the words of his mouth. - He builds his upper chambers in the heavens
and establishes his vault of the sky over the earth—
the Lord is his name. - During the day the Lord grants his kindness,
and at night his praise is with me,
a prayer to the living God. - Observe the ordinances of the Lord, your God, walking in his ways and keeping his statutes, his commandments, his ordinances, and what he witnessed in writing in the law of Moses. In this way you will prosper in whatever you do and wherever you go.
- For this reason
a man shall leave his father and mother
and be joined to his wife,
and the two shall become one flesh. - No one can have greater love
than to lay down his life for his friends. - You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male slave, nor his female slave, nor his oxen, nor his donkey, nor anything that belongs to your neighbor.
- Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How inscrutable are his judgments and how unfathomable his ways!
- No one should seek his own advantage in preference to that of his neighbor.
- John’s clothing was made of camel’s hair, with a leather loincloth around his waist, and his food consisted of locusts and wild honey.
- By his own choice he gave us birth through the way of truth so that we may be a kind of firstfruits of all his creation.
- For his anger lasts for only a moment,
while his goodwill endures for a lifetime.
Weeping may last throughout the night,
but at daybreak there is rejoicing. - In Christ
and through his blood
we have redemption
and the forgiveness of our sins.
In accord with the riches of his grace.
Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts:
he is the King of glory. Selah Even though the fig tree does not blossom
and there is no fruit on the vines,
even though the olive crop will fail
and the orchards will yield no food,
even though the flock is cut off from the fold
and there is no herd in the stalls,
I will continue to rejoice in the Lord,
and exult in the God of my salvation.Next verse!With image
