- Seek the Lord and his strength;
seek his presence continually! - Seek the Lord and his strength;
seek his presence continually! - He will cover you with his pinions,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness is a shield and buckler. - The Lord is righteous in all his ways
and kind in all his works. - Whoever guards his mouth preserves his life;
he who opens wide his lips comes to ruin. - May the Lord give strength to his people!
May the Lord bless his people with peace! - That I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and may share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death.
- For the Lord God does nothing
without revealing his secret
to his servants the prophets. - Oh give thanks to the Lord; call upon his name;
make known his deeds among the peoples! - The heart of man plans his way,
but the Lord establishes his steps. - And you will say in that day:
“Give thanks to the Lord,
call upon his name,
make known his deeds among the peoples,
proclaim that his name is exalted.” - And keep the charge of the Lord your God, walking in his ways and keeping his statutes, his commandments, his rules, and his testimonies, as it is written in the Law of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn.
- When Jesus had received the sour wine, he said, “It is finished,” and he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
- I have not departed from the commandment of his lips;
I have treasured the words of his mouth more than my portion of food. - By day the Lord commands his steadfast love,
and at night his song is with me,
a prayer to the God of my life. - Let no one seek his own good, but the good of his neighbor.
- Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.
- Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, to build him up.
- You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his male servant, or his female servant, or his ox, or his donkey, or anything that is your neighbor's.
- Now John wore a garment of camel's hair and a leather belt around his waist, and his food was locusts and wild honey.
- Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.
- Who builds his upper chambers in the heavens
and founds his vault upon the earth;
who calls for the waters of the sea
and pours them out upon the surface of the earth—
the Lord is his name. - For his anger is but for a moment,
and his favor is for a lifetime.
Weeping may tarry for the night,
but joy comes with the morning. - Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!
- Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace.Both riches and honor come from you, and you rule over all. In your hand are power and might, and in your hand it is to make great and to give strength to all. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.Next verse!With image
