Chinese (traditional)For everything that was written in the past was written for our instruction, so that by perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures, we may continue to have hope. For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope. For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope. Such things were written in the Scriptures long ago to teach us. And the Scriptures give us hope and encouragement as we wait patiently for God’s promises to be fulfilled. For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, so that by steadfastness and by the encouragement of the scriptures we might have hope. For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that through perseverance and through encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. It is better to be a patient man rather than a warrior,
one who controls his temper rather than one who captures a city. Jesus answered him,
“Whoever loves me will keep my word,
and my Father will love him,
and we will come to him
and make our abode with him.”Next verse! With image
