- He reveals deep and mysterious things
and knows what lies hidden in darkness,

and revealed to us what the king demanded. - But we have sinned and done wrong. We have rebelled against you and scorned your commands and regulations.
- Many will be purified, cleansed, and refined by these trials. But the wicked will continue in their wickedness, and none of them will understand. Only those who are wise will know what it means.
