- He reveals deep and hidden things;
he knows what lies in darkness,
and light dwells with him. - Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and exalt and glorify the King of heaven, because everything he does is right and all his ways are just. And those who walk in pride he is able to humble.
- I ate no choice food; no meat or wine touched my lips; and I used no lotions at all until the three weeks were over.
- I thank and praise you, God of my ancestors:
You have given me wisdom and power,
you have made known to me what we asked of you,
you have made known to us the dream of the king. - We have sinned and done wrong. We have been wicked and have rebelled; we have turned away from your commands and laws.
- Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand.
Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Walk in obedience to all that the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live and prosper and prolong your days in the land that you will possess.Next verse!With image
