- He reveals deep and secret things;
He knows what is in the darkness,
And light dwells with Him. - Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, all of whose works are truth, and His ways justice. And those who walk in pride He is able to put down.

For You have made known to us the king’s demand. - We have sinned and committed iniquity, we have done wickedly and rebelled, even by departing from Your precepts and Your judgments.
- Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand.
