- He revealeth the deep and secret things:
he knoweth what is in the darkness,
and the light dwelleth with him. - Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.

for thou hast now made known unto us the king's matter. - We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from thy precepts and from thy judgments.
- Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
