- Go thy way, eat thy bread with joy, and drink thy wine with a merry heart; for God now accepteth thy works.
- I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
- Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.
- Although the fig tree shall not blossom,
neither shall fruit be in the vines;
the labour of the olive shall fail,
and the fields shall yield no meat;
the flock shall be cut off from the fold,
and there shall be no herd in the stalls:
Yet I will rejoice in the Lord,
I will joy in the God of my salvation. - When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.
- I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled.
- And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
- The vine is dried up,
and the fig tree languisheth;
the pomegranate tree,
the palm tree also,
and the apple tree,
even all the trees of the field, are withered:
because joy is withered away
from the sons of men.
He only is my rock and my salvation:
he is my defence; I shall not be moved. With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love.Next verse!With image
