Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God. Ephesians 5:2	And live in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. love sacrifice Jesus

Let there be no sexual immorality, impurity, or greed among you. Such sins have no place among God’s people. Ephesians 5:3	But fornication and impurity of any kind, or greed, must not even be mentioned among you, as is proper among saints. sin greed holiness
For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light! Ephesians 5:8	For once you were darkness, but now in the Lord you are light. Live as children of light. light children life
For this light within you produces only what is good and right and true. Ephesians 5:9	For the fruit of the light is found in all that is good and right and true. light goodness righteousness
Take no part in the worthless deeds of evil and darkness; instead, expose them. It is shameful even to talk about the things that ungodly people do in secret. Ephesians 5:11-12	Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. For it is shameful even to mention what such people do secretly. sin speaking idols
So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days. Ephesians 5:15-16	Be careful then how you live, not as unwise people but as wise, making the most of the time, because the days are evil. wisdom life mind
For wives, this means submit to your husbands as to the Lord. For a husband is the head of his wife as Christ is the head of the church. He is the Savior of his body, the church. Ephesians 5:22-23	Wives, be subject to your husbands as you are to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife just as Christ is the head of the church, the body of which he is the Savior. marriage Jesus salvation
For husbands, this means love your wives, just as Christ loved the church. He gave up his life for her to make her holy and clean, washed by the cleansing of God’s word. Ephesians 5:25-26	Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, in order to make her holy by cleansing her with the washing of water by the word. love purification relationships
In the same way, husbands ought to love their wives as they love their own bodies. For a man who loves his wife actually shows love for himself. As the Scriptures say, “A man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one.” Ephesians 5:31	For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two will become one flesh. marriage body sexuality
So again I say, each man must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband. Ephesians 5:33	Each of you, however, should love his wife as himself, and a wife should respect her husband. marriage relationships
