Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God. Let there be no sexual immorality, impurity, or greed among you. Such sins have no place among God’s people. Ephesians 5:3	Indeed, fornication and impurity of any kind, as well as greed, should not even be mentioned among you. Such talk is not fitting for saints. sin greed holiness
For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light! Ephesians 5:8	Once you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light. light children life
For this light within you produces only what is good and right and true. Ephesians 5:9	For light produces all goodness and righteousness and truth. light goodness righteousness
Take no part in the worthless deeds of evil and darkness; instead, expose them. It is shameful even to talk about the things that ungodly people do in secret. Ephesians 5:11-12	Take no part in the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather seek to expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of what deeds people do in secret. sin speaking idols
So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days. Ephesians 5:15-16	Therefore, take care to live as intelligent people, and do not be like those who are senseless. Make the most of the present time, for this is a wicked age. wisdom life mind
For wives, this means submit to your husbands as to the Lord. For a husband is the head of his wife as Christ is the head of the church. He is the Savior of his body, the church. Ephesians 5:22-23	Wives, be subject to your husbands as you are to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, just as Christ is the head of the Church, the body of which he is the Savior. marriage Jesus salvation
For husbands, this means love your wives, just as Christ loved the church. He gave up his life for her to make her holy and clean, washed by the cleansing of God’s word. In the same way, husbands ought to love their wives as they love their own bodies. For a man who loves his wife actually shows love for himself. So again I say, each man must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband. Ephesians 5:33	However, each one of you should love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife should respect her husband. marriage relationships
