| “For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone who dies,” declares the Lord God. “Therefore, repent and live!” | For I have no pleasure in the death of anyone, says the Lord God. Turn, then, and live. |
| And I will put My Spirit within you and bring it about that you walk in My statutes, and are careful and follow My ordinances. | I will put my spirit within you, and make you follow my statutes and be careful to observe my ordinances. |
| Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. | A new heart I will give you, and a new spirit I will put within you; and I will remove from your body the heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. |
| I am the Lord your God; walk in My statutes and keep My ordinances and follow them. Sanctify My Sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between Me and you, so that you may know that I am the Lord your God. | I the Lord am your God; follow my statutes, and be careful to observe my ordinances, and hallow my sabbaths that they may be a sign between me and you, so that you may know that I the Lord am your God. |
| So I will prove Myself great, show Myself holy, and make Myself known in the sight of many nations; and they will know that I am the Lord. | So I will display my greatness and my holiness and make myself known in the eyes of many nations. Then they shall know that I am the Lord. |
| Repent and turn away from all your offenses, so that wrongdoing does not become a stumbling block to you. | Repent and turn from all your transgressions; otherwise iniquity will be your ruin. |
| But if the wicked person turns from all his sins which he has committed and keeps all My statutes and practices justice and righteousness, he shall certainly live; he shall not die. | But if the wicked turn away from all their sins that they have committed and keep all my statutes and do what is lawful and right, they shall surely live; they shall not die. |
| “Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked,” declares the Lord God, “rather than that he would turn from his ways and live?” | Have I any pleasure in the death of the wicked, says the Lord God, and not rather that they should turn from their ways and live? |
| I will make them and the places around My hill a blessing. And I will make showers fall in their season; they will be showers of blessing. | I will make them and the region around my hill a blessing; and I will send down the showers in their season; they shall be showers of blessing. |
| “And I will vindicate the holiness of My great name which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned among them. Then the nations will know that I am the Lord,” declares the Lord God, “when I show Myself holy among you in their sight.” | I will sanctify my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, and which you have profaned among them; and the nations shall know that I am the Lord, says the Lord God, when through you I display my holiness before their eyes. |
