| “For I have no pleasure in the death of one who dies,” says the Lord God. “Therefore turn and live!” | For I have no pleasure in the death of anyone, says the Lord God. Turn, then, and live. |
| I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them. | I will put my spirit within you, and make you follow my statutes and be careful to observe my ordinances. |
| I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. | A new heart I will give you, and a new spirit I will put within you; and I will remove from your body the heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. |
| I am the Lord your God: Walk in My statutes, keep My judgments, and do them; hallow My Sabbaths, and they will be a sign between Me and you, that you may know that I am the Lord your God. | I the Lord am your God; follow my statutes, and be careful to observe my ordinances, and hallow my sabbaths that they may be a sign between me and you, so that you may know that I the Lord am your God. |
| Thus I will magnify Myself and sanctify Myself, and I will be known in the eyes of many nations. Then they shall know that I am the Lord. | So I will display my greatness and my holiness and make myself known in the eyes of many nations. Then they shall know that I am the Lord. |
| Repent, and turn from all your transgressions, so that iniquity will not be your ruin. | Repent and turn from all your transgressions; otherwise iniquity will be your ruin. |
| But if a wicked man turns from all his sins which he has committed, keeps all My statutes, and does what is lawful and right, he shall surely live; he shall not die. | But if the wicked turn away from all their sins that they have committed and keep all my statutes and do what is lawful and right, they shall surely live; they shall not die. |
| “Do I have any pleasure at all that the wicked should die?” says the Lord God, “and not that he should turn from his ways and live?” | Have I any pleasure in the death of the wicked, says the Lord God, and not rather that they should turn from their ways and live? |
| I will make them and the places all around My hill a blessing; and I will cause showers to come down in their season; there shall be showers of blessing. | I will make them and the region around my hill a blessing; and I will send down the showers in their season; they shall be showers of blessing. |
| “And I will sanctify My great name, which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned in their midst; and the nations shall know that I am the Lord,” says the Lord God, “when I am hallowed in you before their eyes.” | I will sanctify my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, and which you have profaned among them; and the nations shall know that I am the Lord, says the Lord God, when through you I display my holiness before their eyes. |
