| For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus. And all who have been united with Christ in baptism have put on Christ, like putting on new clothes. | For you are all sons and daughters of God through faith in Christ Jesus. | They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, along with everyone in your household.” | They said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.” |
| Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned. | The one who has believed and has been baptized will be saved; but the one who has not believed will be condemned. |
| So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ. | So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ. |
| Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. | Fight the good fight for the true faith. Hold tightly to the eternal life to which God has called you, which you have declared so well before many witnesses. | Fight the good fight of faith; take hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and for which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. |
| We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne. | Looking only at Jesus, the originator and perfecter of the faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. |
| I have written this to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know you have eternal life. | These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life. |
| In view of all this, make every effort to respond to God’s promises. Supplement your faith with a generous provision of moral excellence, and moral excellence with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with patient endurance, and patient endurance with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love for everyone. | Now for this very reason also, applying all diligence, in your faith supply moral excellence, and in your moral excellence, knowledge, and in your knowledge, self-control, and in your self-control, perseverance, and in your perseverance, godliness, and in your godliness, brotherly kindness, and in your brotherly kindness, love. |

| God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. | If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. | That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. |
| Dear brothers and sisters, we can’t help but thank God for you, because your faith is flourishing and your love for one another is growing. | We ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers and sisters, as is only fitting, because your faith is increasing abundantly, and the love of each and every one of you toward one another grows ever greater. |
| My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. | Then Jesus told him, “You believe because you have seen me. Blessed are those who believe without seeing me.” | Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen Me, have you now believed? Blessed are they who did not see, and yet believed.” |
| Look at the proud! They trust in themselves, and their lives are crooked. But the righteous will live by their faithfulness to God. | Behold, as for the impudent one, His soul is not right within him; But the righteous one will live by his faith. |
| But when Jesus heard what had happened, he said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid. Just have faith, and she will be healed.” | But when Jesus heard this, He responded to him, “Do not be afraid any longer; only believe, and she will be made well.” |
| Then Jesus told them, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you can do things like this and much more. You can even say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen.” | And Jesus answered and said to them, “Truly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ it will happen.” |
