So then, as we have opportunity, let’s do what is good toward all men, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith. But godliness with contentment is great gain. 1 Timothy 6:6	But godliness actually is a means of great gain when accompanied by contentment. joy materialism contentment

I have fought the good fight. I have finished the course. I have kept the faith. Who are you who judge another’s servant? To his own lord he stands or falls. Yes, he will be made to stand, for God has power to make him stand. For I am not ashamed of the Good News of Christ, because it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first, and also for the Greek. We, being Jews by nature and not Gentile sinners, yet knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because no flesh will be justified by the works of the law. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 1 Timothy 6:10	For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. money evil greed
For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, to the end that you may be established; that is, that I with you may be encouraged in you, each of us by the other’s faith, both yours and mine. Most certainly I tell you, he who believes in me, the works that I do, he will do also; and he will do greater works than these, because I am going to my Father. Beware, brothers, lest perhaps there might be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief, in falling away from the living God. Hebrews 3:12	Take care, brothers and sisters, that there will not be in any one of you an evil, unbelieving heart that falls away from the living God. anger evil heart
One who believes in the Son has eternal life, but one who disobeys the Son won’t see life, but the wrath of God remains on him. Without controversy, the mystery of godliness is great: God was revealed in the flesh, justified in the spirit, seen by angels, preached among the nations, believed on in the world, and received up in glory. 1 Timothy 3:16	Beyond question, great is the mystery of godliness: He who was revealed in the flesh, Was vindicated in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Proclaimed among the nations, Believed on in the world, Taken up in glory. He who believes in him is not judged. He who doesn’t believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only born Son of God.
