Forgiveness (2/2)

But if you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins.But if you do not forgive other people, then your Father will not forgive your offenses.
And I will forgive their wickedness, and I will never again remember their sins.For I will be merciful toward their wrongdoings, And their sins I will no longer remember.
But in your great mercy, you did not destroy them completely or abandon them forever. What a gracious and merciful God you are!Nevertheless, in Your great compassion You did not make an end of them or abandon them, For You are a gracious and compassionate God.
Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sin is put out of sight!How blessed is he whose wrongdoing is forgiven, Whose sin is covered!
When Jesus heard this, he said, “Healthy people don’t need a doctor—sick people do.”But when Jesus heard this, He said, “It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick.”
For he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son, who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins.For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
“Come now, let’s settle this,” says the Lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet, I will make them as white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, I will make them as white as wool.”“Come now, and let us debate your case,” Says the Lord, “Though your sins are as scarlet, They shall become as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be like wool.”
Anyone who speaks against the Son of Man can be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven, either in this world or in the world to come.And whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come.
So I tell you, every sin and blasphemy can be forgiven—except blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, which will never be forgiven.Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven people, but blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven.
Once again you will have compassion on us. You will trample our sins under your feet and throw them into the depths of the ocean!He will again take pity on us; He will trample on our wrongdoings. Yes, You will cast all their sins Into the depths of the sea.
Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing.” And the soldiers gambled for his clothes by throwing dice.But Jesus was saying, “Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing.” And they cast lots, dividing His garments among themselves.
Bring your confessions, and return to the Lord. Say to him, “Forgive all our sins and graciously receive us, so that we may offer you our praises.”Take words with you and return to the Lord. Say to Him, “Take away all guilt And receive us graciously, So that we may present the fruit of our lips.”
And he took a cup of wine and gave thanks to God for it. He gave it to them and said, “Each of you drink from it, for this is my blood, which confirms the covenant between God and his people. It is poured out as a sacrifice to forgive the sins of many.”And when He had taken a cup and given thanks, He gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you; for this is My blood of the covenant, which is being poured out for many for forgiveness of sins.”
In fact, according to the law of Moses, nearly everything was purified with blood. For without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness.And almost all things are cleansed with blood, according to the Law, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.
He is the one all the prophets testified about, saying that everyone who believes in him will have their sins forgiven through his name.All the prophets testify of Him, that through His name everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins.
When God saw what they had done and how they had put a stop to their evil ways, he changed his mind and did not carry out the destruction he had threatened.When God saw their deeds, that they turned from their evil way, then God relented of the disaster which He had declared He would bring on them. So He did not do it.
