| What then are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us? | What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? |

| We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose. | And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. |
| The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run into it and are safe. | The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. |
| Even though you intended to do harm to me, God intended it for good, in order to preserve a numerous people, as he is doing today. | But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive. |
| Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the Lord guards the city, the guard keeps watch in vain. | Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. |
| May God continue to bless us; let all the ends of the earth revere him. | God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him. |
| Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his power. | Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. |

| But you, O Lord, reign forever; your throne endures to all generations. | Thou, O Lord, remainest for ever; thy throne from generation to generation. |

| Who has performed and done this, calling the generations from the beginning? I, the Lord, am first, and will be with the last. | Who hath wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I the Lord, the first, and with the last; I am he. |
| Beloved, since God loved us so much, we also ought to love one another. | Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. |
| For who is God except the Lord? And who is a rock besides our God? | For who is God save the Lord? or who is a rock save our God? |
| The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with all of you. | The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen. |
| God is not a human being, that he should lie, or a mortal, that he should change his mind. Has he promised, and will he not do it? Has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it? | God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? |
| The young lions suffer want and hunger, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing. | The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing. |
| Hear, O Israel: The Lord is our God, the Lord alone. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might. | Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. |
