Hebrews 4 - NKJV & NIV

There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his.
Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience.Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience.
For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin.
Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
