| He is not here, but He has risen. | Therefore when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And He bowed His head and gave up His spirit. | When Jesus had taken the wine, he said, “It is finished.” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit. |

| How much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? | How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify our conscience from acts that lead to death so that we may worship the living God. |
