Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let’s cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.Since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from anything that can defile flesh or spirit, and thereby make our holiness perfect in the fear of God.
And He was saying, “That which comes out of the person, that is what defiles the person. All these evils come from within, and they defile a person.”

Be gracious to me, God, according to Your faithfulness; According to the greatness of Your compassion, wipe out my wrongdoings. Achieving purification from sins, he took his seat at the right hand of the Majesty on high.
“Come now, and let us debate your case,” Says the Lord, “Though your sins are as scarlet, They shall become as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be like wool.”Come now and let us discuss this, says the Lord. Now then, do away with the foreign gods which are in your midst, and incline your hearts to the Lord, the God of Israel.He continued, “Then put away the foreign gods from among you. Bend your heart to the Lord, the God of Israel.”
