Jesus (2/8)

And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.
Most assuredly, I say to you, he who receives whomever I send receives Me; and he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me.Very truly I tell you, whoever accepts anyone I send accepts me; and whoever accepts me accepts the one who sent me.
Who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross!
For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost. For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.
For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.
He must increase, but I must decrease. He must become greater; I must become less.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!
For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
But, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ.Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.
I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture.
If you love Me, keep My commandments. If you love me, keep my commands.
For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through this Man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins; and by Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses. Therefore, my friends, I want you to know that through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you. Through him everyone who believes is set free from every sin, a justification you were not able to obtain under the law of Moses.
He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”“But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”
But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved). But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.
Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”
He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.
And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.
And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.”He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.”
For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.
Jesus said to him, “Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you.If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first.
Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth. Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth.
For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power. For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority.
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised, and we held him in low esteem.
