Bible Verses about the Neighbor

And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these. The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.
Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous. Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble.
Let no one seek his own, but each one the other’s well-being.No one should seek their own good, but the good of others.
Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing. Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.
Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
Let brotherly love continue. Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels.Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters. Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.
For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.
Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, leading to edification. Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up.
Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves.
Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.
Therefore let us not judge one another anymore, but rather resolve this, not to put a stumbling block or a cause to fall in our brother’s way. Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister.
Bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
Learn to do good; Seek justice, Rebuke the oppressor; Defend the fatherless, Plead for the widow.Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow.
Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things. You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things.
And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.”Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.
And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another and to all, just as we do to you.May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else, just as ours does for you.
For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not bear false witness,” “You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another.Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.
To him who is afflicted, kindness should be shown by his friend, Even though he forsakes the fear of the Almighty.Anyone who withholds kindness from a friend forsakes the fear of the Almighty.
For this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. For this is the message you heard from the beginning: We should love one another.
One person esteems one day above another; another esteems every day alike. Let each be fully convinced in his own mind. One person considers one day more sacred than another; another considers every day alike. Each of them should be fully convinced in their own mind.
Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person?
