- Finally the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went inside. He saw and believed. (They still did not understand from Scripture that Jesus had to rise from the dead.)
- Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”
- Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.”
- Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.Next verse!With image
